The conference will be held in the facilities of Law, Bussiness Administration and Economics Studies (Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos building n.14 in map http://www.uib.es/ca/campus/) (photograph)   inside the campus of the University of Balearic Islands (UIB). Actually, the campus is located in the surrounding area (8 kilometres) of the city of Palma de Mallorca , capital of the island of Majorca and also capital of the autonomous community of Balearic Islands

Mallorca continues to top the charts as a favourite holiday destination in Europe . With over 900 hotels, 2000 restaurants, 41 harbours, 12 golf courses and nearly hundred beaches, Majorca really does have something for everyone. It has been said that Majorca ‘s history is as long as its coastline. Often overlooked by visitors, Palma , the capital of the Balearics has much to offer. For those wishing to take a break from the beach, check out the cities numerous architectural treasures including the 14 th century Bellver Castle , the Gothic Cathedral, the Almudaina (palace of the former Arab and Christian kings of Mallorca ), the Monastery of St. Francis and the ancient market.

The accommodation will be at hotel Benelux in Palma de Mallorca. The area is about fifteen minutes (walking distance) to historical centre of the city, in one direction, and about the same time distance to a mall in the opposite direction. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, fine dining, snack bars. The hotel is about 12 kilometres from the international airport. There are public buses (about 2 euros. Line number 1) and taxi cabs (about 25 Euros) available at the exit of the airport facilities to connect with downtown. The university campus is about 7 km from the center of Palma. There is a bus line (1.5 euros. Line number 19) and a metro line (1 euro) which connect the city and the university. The bus stop is just 2 minutes walking from the hotel.
